Don't Believe the Truth was released back in 2005. It was a rapidly-changing time for music, and we'd seen the arrival of The Strokes, The Killers and Arctic Monkeys. Had this left Oasis looking a bit, dare we say, our of date?

This was an album where Noel Gallagher wrote just five of the 11 songs, with Liam Gallagher, Andy Bell and Gem Archer all chipping in. Was that the reason for it being disjointed?
